Join us online for a short, focused lunchtime briefing designed to update professionals working with children and young people on the emerging trends around THC and THC vapes.

We’ll explore:

  • The effects of THC and synthetic cannabinoids

  • Signs and behaviours to watch for

  • How to engage and support young people

  • When and how to refer to specialist substance use services

This session will boost staff confidence in recognising and responding to vape-related substance use in young people.

Learning Objectives

  • To update the wider children and young people's workforce on emerging presentations with THC and THC vapes.

  • Professionals need to be aware of the effects of THC and synthetic cannabinoids, what to look out for and how to support young people.

  • Staff should have confidence in referring to substance use services when they identify someone using THC vapes.
