Our support is built around choice, respect, and early access, delivered in schools, the community, and other safe spaces that work for you. We’re here to help you feel more in control, more connected, and more understood.

Who We Support
Our emotional wellbeing services are open to:
Young people aged 5–25 across Bury, Rochdale and Oldham
Parents, carers, and professionals looking to refer or learn more
Those facing challenges with anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, regulation, or emotional crisis
Whether you’re taking the first step or supporting someone who is, Early Break is here with compassion, experience, and the right kind of support at the right time.
We offer holistic, person-centred support, shaped around what matters most to you.

Face-to-face support for 5–17s in Bury, offering strategies to manage anxiety, low mood, and emotional regulation.

Specialist support for young people aged 16–25 in Rochdale, bridging the transition from child to adult mental health services.

1‑to‑1 stepped-down crisis support for 5–18s in Bury and Rochdale, offering up to 6 private sessions where young people feel safe and heard.

Low-level emotional health support for 5–19s in partnership with CAMHS and the NHS. Access via #Thrive drop-ins and referrals.

Safe, themed group sessions where young people can connect, share, and learn, covering topics like wellbeing, gender, neurodiversity and more.

Yes. Many of our services offer flexible sessions in schools, youth settings, or community venues, wherever feels safest and most convenient for you.

All services offer an initial 6 sessions. The total number will depend on the intervention you are receiving or your current needs.
Where possible, we will support you in gaining further support or onward referrals.

We support issues like anxiety, stress, low mood, self-harm, confidence, friendships, emotional regulation, bereavement, and transitions into adulthood.

Absolutely, if you want them to be, we respect your preferences and can involve your support network in ways that feel safe and helpful.

Referrals depend on the service. For example, #Thrive referrals are handled by the NHS team, while RISE is a physical drop-in service with no appointment needed. Other services may accept direct referrals.
