Lunch & Learn - Ketamine awareness session for professionals working with young people

Early Break are offering 30 minute learn and lunch sessions to professionals in Blackburn with Darwen who work with children and families focusing on Ketamine use and information about referrals into their service.

Ketamine use is an emerging trend across Lancashire. With an increase of young people from the ages 14 presenting with significant health issues linked to chronic ketamine use.

We’ll explore:

  • The effects of Ketamine

  • Signs and behaviours to watch for

  • How to engage and support young people

  • When and how to refer to specialist substance use services

This session will boost staff confidence in recognising and responding to Ketamine-related substance use in young people.
