Support – Oldham (MYNO)
Meeting Your Needs in Oldham – One Service, Two Expert Teams
MYNO (Meeting Your Needs Oldham) is a free, confidential service for young people aged up to 25 who want support with sexual health or substance use. Delivered in partnership by Early Break and HCRG Care Group, MYNO is designed to give youth in Oldham the right help, in the right way, at the right time.
Whether you want advice about drugs or alcohol, STI testing, contraception, or just someone to talk to, our friendly, non-judgemental workers are here for you.
You can access MYNO support in person, online, or by phone, and you don’t need a GP referral to get started. Just start a referral below.

What MYNO Offers in Oldham
As part of Oldham Council’s youth health strategy, MYNO offers two linked areas of support:
Sexual Health Support
Delivered by HCRG Care Group, you can get help with:
STI testing and treatment
Contraception advice (including emergency contraception)
Pregnancy testing and guidance
Information about relationships and consent
Free condoms and sexual health kits
Support tailored for LGBTQ+ young people
Substance Use Support
Delivered by Early Break, this part of MYNO offers:
Confidential one-to-one sessions
Harm reduction advice for drugs and alcohol
Emotional wellbeing and resilience support
Help with family, school, and peer pressure
Referrals to other services if needed
Our teams work together where appropriate, so you can get joined-up support in one safe, youth-friendly service.

Anyone aged up to 25 living in Oldham. The service is free, confidential, and open to all genders and identities.

No. You can speak to just the Early Break (substance use) or HCRG Care Group (sexual health) team. If you start a referral online, you will be guided through the process.
If you want support across both areas, we’ll make it easy and respectful.

All support is confidential. We won’t share information without your consent unless there’s a serious risk to your safety, and we’ll always try to speak with you first.

You can meet us at schools, youth centres, community venues, or online, whatever feels safest for you.

Yes. Teachers, social workers, GPs and other professionals can refer via our Referral Forms page or by contacting either delivery partner.
